Pregnant women and guests who have difficulty walking unassisted are kindly requested to refrain from boarding. Our vessels travel at high speed, and the vibration may have adverse effects on prenatal health. Please also note that the gap between the pier and the vessel makes boarding and disembarking difficult.
Please note that the vessel boarding area and island facilities are not wheelchair accessible. Guests with underlying medical conditions who have concerns about participating are encouraged to contact us in advance.
Cash and credit cards are the only accepted payment methods on the island.
Cancellations at the guest’s convenience will incur a cancellation fee: 50% on the day before the tour, and 100% after departure on the day of the tour.
In the event that the tour is cancelled by our company due to bad weather or other circumstances, please check the “Today’s Operation Status” on the official website’s top page on the morning of your visit. Operation decisions are made after 8:00 AM (JST).
Please be aware that travel time and arrival time may vary slightly depending on weather and sea conditions.
Parents and guardians are reminded to monitor children’s health carefully, particularly for signs of heatstroke or sunstroke.
In our commitment to environmental conservation and ocean protection, the use of shampoo, soap, or other cleansing products in the showers is strictly prohibited.
Outside food and drinks are not permitted on the island. All waste is collected by our staff after the tour. We kindly ask for your cooperation in reducing waste.
To protect the island’s natural ecosystem, animals and pets are not permitted.
Please note that certain items are prohibited on board the vessel, including sharp objects such as harpoons and spears, and large personal items such as coolers and folding chairs.
Fishing and shellfish gathering are not permitted on the island.
The Nagannu Island Official Tour is operated by Tokashiki Co., Ltd. We carry comprehensive liability insurance to cover any unforeseen accidents that may occur during the tour.
Safety Management
As an uninhabited island, Nagannu Island has no utilities such as running water or electricity. The following safety measures are strictly enforced to prevent water-related incidents and ensure the safety of all guests.
A designated swimming area is in place. Swimming outside this area is strictly prohibited, and an instructor must accompany all guests venturing beyond the designated zone.
Life jackets are mandatory for all snorkelers, even within the designated swimming area.
Photos of potentially dangerous marine creatures are posted throughout the island. All guests are expected to familiarize themselves with these hazards.
Nagannu Island covers an area of approximately 196,000 m², spanning about 1.7 km east to west. Due to the size of the island, supervision by monitors is limited, and restricted areas have been established for both safety and environmental protection.
First aid supplies are available on the island. Please note that there are no advanced medical facilities, and emergency treatment cannot be provided. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.
